  1. It is interesting to consider this outlook on Search Engine Optimization. No longer is it just about ranking higher than your competitors. To think that you don’t have to necessarily rank number one on Google to benefit from branding is an exciting and refreshing approach. It may also change your strategy for which key search phrases to optimize. I never thought of it in this way before. But it has prompted me to reconsider the key words I would want to use to optimize my web site. I might, for instance, consider optimizing for a less competitive word or even use a surprisingly different word that would get my site on the search results with other giants so that it elevates my brand’s perceived value.

  2. This was a very interesting article but I am not very familiar with all the internet lingo so to speak so can you explain what branding is exactly? If I am even half way understanding this correctly it is basically getting your spot on a search engine page up there with the bigger name companies is that right? If I am wrong that would not surprise me. I will do some more research on this and see if I can figure it out, because it is something I will probably want to do with my business.
